The one-day workshop "Measuring recency and frequency effects in diachronic and synchronic corpus data" is aimed at master and doctoral students, as well as post-doctoral researchers. The workshop brings together researchers working on the influence of recency and frequency on processes of language change and language processing in Spanish, English and German. It addresses both the methodological problem of measuring frequency and recency in corpus data and theoretical ramifications of the concepts of frequency and recency.
